I approach insurance as an educational experience, not sales. Whether it's Medicare, Individual Health or Life Insurance, I believe most, if not all people, need coverage; it's just a matter of choosing the most appropriate policy to fit their needs. That's why I contract with all available insurance carriers in the region, and will disclose any that I don't. Options are great to have, but too many, when you're not educated in the matter becomes overwhelming. It can be stressful and you may be afraid to seek professional guidance because your worried about fees, pushy sales tactics, or someone that will sell a policy and you can never reach them again. You may choose a plan that prohibits access to care you need, or "break the bank" to utilize the insurance. Let's have a conversation. If you are already covered by a plan, and in my opinion it's the best for you, then you have peace of mind at no cost. If you are seeking insurance because you're newly eligible for coverage, let's explore your options together, not just at the beginning, but year after year to find the BEST plan for you and your family.

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to your health insurance, especially with all the options you have when you become Medicare eligible. This is your opportunity to choose a plan based on your needs. It's important to choose the best insurance when you first become eligible for Medicare, as some options may require you to be medically approved later.
Don't be overwhelmed. Let's take this opportunity to go over all your options and make an informed decision based on your preferred doctors, facilities, prescriptions and preferences, such as having dental and vision coverage.
I do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently I represent nine organizations which offer ninety six products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program to get information on all of your options.
Most health insurance plans have unforeseen gaps in coverage, such as routine dental and vision. Other plans may leave you with high out-of-pocket costs for services, such as cancer treatment. It's best to review your healthcare plan to identify these gaps and explore options to help fill them. These options can be a separate dental, vision, hearing or cancer insurance.
Affordable life insurance with a wide range of policy amounts, typically starting at $50,000 up to $1,000,000 or more. These policies are perfect options to provide comfort for you and your loved ones if you have a mortgage, children you would want provided for, or supplement your loss of income. These polices are budget friendly.
Also known as Permanent Insurance because your coverage will not expire after a specific period, like Term Insurance. This is a more expensive option, but may be right for some people. In addition to never expiring, Whole Life Policies also build a cash value and many may offer Riders that help cover other curve balls life throws at you.
Another type of Whole LIfe Insurance, Final Expense Policies are modified for just that, covering the cost of funeral, cremation, celebrations-of-life or whatever your final wishes may be. Final Expense Polices typically start as low as $2,000 and go up to $40,000 benefits. These policies are more affordable than regular Whole Life Policies and approval is much easier, some being Guaranteed Issue!
Annuities provide an investment option with no downside (market) risk. There are several types that offer either a fixed percentage rate for growth, or Indexed Annuities that provide a higher potential interest, but your money is still safe from market volatility. Annuities can be funded with either qualified money (e.g., 401(k) rollover) or non-qualified money such as money in a savings account or maturing CD.
The best policies are the policies that are inforce when you need them, and provide the coverage your loved ones require to fill the financial gaps and burdens that are left upon your passing. For some, this may be an affordable Term Life Policy that provides enough tax free money to your family to cover a mortgage, children's education and supplement your loss of income for the family. Or, you may be retired with no dependents, but want a smaller policy to cover the costs of your final expenses so your loved ones don't have to worry. There are options we can explore for all situations.
